We are seeking a meticulous Tax Consultant to join our Swansea office. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice on tax compliance, planning, and strategy for both individual and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of UK tax laws and a passion for helping clients optimise their tax positions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored tax strategies for individual and corporate cases.
• Monitor regulatory changes that may impact clients.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for client meetings.
• Collaborate with financial planners to ensure tax-efficient strategies.
• Assist clients in tax dispute resolutions with HMRC.
• Train and mentor junior tax staff and interns.
• Engage in networking and business development activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree or additional certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax-related roles

Technical Skills

• Tax compliance and planning strategies
• Proficiency in accounting software

Soft Skills

• Client management
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA)
• Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
