We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Specialist to enhance our cloud-based initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of cloud architecture, deployment strategies, and best practices to ensure optimal performance and security in our cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct regular assessments of cloud security protocols.
• Collaborate with IT teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.
• Lead the implementation of new cloud technologies and processes.
• Prepare and present reports on cloud performance to senior management.
• Train and guide junior staff on cloud practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and solution design.
• Engage with customers to provide insights on cloud solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in implementing cloud solutions

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
