Weigh Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a Weigh Machine Operator to join our production team in London. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for accurately weighing raw materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and performing adjustments to weighing equipment as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Measure raw materials with high precision using electronic equipment.
• Conduct regular quality checks to uphold material standards.
• Handle adjustments to equipment to resolve any measurement issues.
• Maintain comprehensive logs of measurement activities.
• Ensure weighing stations are kept tidy and operational.
• Communicate any faults to management immediately.
• Comply with all safety protocols within the production environment.
• Engage in cross-training for other production-related tasks.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience with computerized weighing systems
• Understanding of HACCP guidelines

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Time management

Advantageous

• Previous experience in manufacturing or food production: Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with HACCP and food safety regulations: Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety practices.
• Experience using computerized weighing systems: Hands-on experience with digital measurement tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment: Skilled in maintaining performance standards under pressure.
