Job Description

We seek a qualified Medical Doctor to join our compassionate team in Leicester. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating patients, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care, and contributing to the improvement of healthcare services in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess patient health through various diagnostic tests.
  • Manage chronic illness in patients and track treatment effectiveness.
  • Advise on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in case reviews and contribute to best practice guidelines.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of medical staff.
  • Provide after-hours care as required.
  • Engage with local health organisations to promote wellness.
  • Document all patient interactions in accordance with legal regulations.
  • Facilitate referral processes to specialists when necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualifications such as MRCP or equivalent are advantageous
Experience
  • At least 5 years experience in general practice or a relevant specialty
