Job Description

As a Paleontologist with us, you will play a key role in conducting field surveys and laboratory research to enhance our understanding of ancient ecosystems. Your findings will be pivotal in shaping our research narratives and will be shared with the scientific community through publications and conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field expeditions to collect significant fossil specimens.
  • Conduct meticulous laboratory research on collected samples.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on fossil interpretation.
  • Write and review research papers for publication in scientific journals.
  • Mentor interns and support their development in paleontological research.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations to share research findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of research methodologies and results.
  • Participate in public education and outreach initiatives to promote paleontological awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Paleontology, Geology, or a related field
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Paleontology is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in paleontological research, including fieldwork.
