Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to join our forward-thinking team in Leeds. In this role, you will monitor, assess, and enhance our cybersecurity posture while collaborating with various stakeholders to mitigate risks associated with potential threats.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into security breaches and recommend actions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and data protection laws.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Conduct security awareness campaigns within the organization.
  • Research and evaluate emerging threats and security solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with law enforcement and cybersecurity agencies.
  • Assist in the design of secure systems and applications.
  • Manage the incident response team during security events.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements.
  • Provide mentorship to junior cybersecurity staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Advanced certifications like OSCP or CISA are preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing security operations
