Job Description

As a Tool Master at Tech Solutions Ltd., you will oversee the management and maintenance of various tools and equipment in our production environment. You'll be responsible for tracking, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of our tools, which are crucial for our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage tool inventory and maintain detailed records.
• Implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all tools in use.
• Provide technical support to production staff regarding tool operation.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing tool efficiency and reducing costs.
• Ensure all tools meet quality standards before use in production.
• Help design new tool-related processes to improve workflow efficiency.
• Support training and development initiatives for team members.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to discuss tool needs.
• Investigate and document any incidents involving tool malfunctions.
• Promote a culture of safety and best practices in tool usage.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
• Relevant technical certifications

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in tool maintenance and repair, ideally within a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• CNC machine operation
• Lean Manufacturing practices

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of CAD software: Experience using tools like AutoCAD for designing and modifying tools.
• Familiar with Six Sigma techniques: Knowledge of methodologies focusing on process improvement.
