Job Description
Join our team as a Behavioral Clinician, focusing on assessment and therapeutic interventions to aid individuals struggling with substance abuse and behavioral health issues.
Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose behavioral health conditions.
Create and modify treatment plans as necessary, focusing on client-centered approaches.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques for intervention.
Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with mental health professionals and support staff.
Facilitate support groups and educational workshops for clients.
Handle crisis situations with appropriate intervention strategies.
Document all interactions and progress in accordance with standards.
Engage in community outreach and advocacy for individuals with substance abuse issues.
Participate in ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work
Valid certification in mental health counseling preferred
Experience
3+ years of experience in substance abuse counseling
