Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Dundee. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of actuarial principles and a passion for applying statistical methods to solve complex financial problems. This role is essential for assisting in risk assessment and providing insights that drive our strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise statistical software to construct and validate predictive models.
  • Assist in the integration of new datasets into existing actuarial analyses.
  • Develop communication strategies to convey complex actuarial insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current actuarial strategies and propose improvements.
  • Attend professional development training to stay current with industry trends.
  • Play a key role in project teams to ensure timely delivery of actuarial services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related discipline
  • Advanced degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant actuarial experience
