Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Dairy Science Teacher to join our educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in the field of dairy science, fostering a stimulating learning environment for students.

Responsibilities

  • Create lesson plans that promote student engagement and enhance learning outcomes in dairy science topics.
  • Lead field trips to local farms and dairy facilities to provide hands-on learning experiences.
  • Facilitate group discussions and collaborative projects to encourage teamwork among students.
  • Implement assessment strategies to measure student learning and outcomes effectively.
  • Conduct research and integrate new findings into course content to keep the curriculum up-to-date.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote dairy science education.
  • Develop partnerships with industry stakeholders for potential student internships and cooperative education opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science, Animal Science, or a related field (minimum requirement)
  • Postgraduate degree in Dairy Science or related specialization (advantageous)
Experience
  • Prior experience teaching dairy science or related subjects at secondary school or higher education level is preferred but not essential.
