Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions in animals. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also embodies empathy and compassion in their care. Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload, providing tailored care that meets the unique needs of each animal.
  • Collaborate with specialists for advanced diagnostic and treatment options when necessary.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
  • Utilise veterinary diagnostic equipment and perform laboratory tests effectively.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture through effective communication and support for colleagues.
  • Participate in training and mentoring junior staff and interns in veterinary procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in veterinary practice with a focus on surgery
