Job Description

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our team in St Albans. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on the safe use of prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Review prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Ensure medications are dispensed safely and effectively.
  • Provide drug utilization review and assessment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Participate in budget management and cost containment efforts.
  • Assist in pharmacy operations and workflow optimisation.
  • Engage in continuing education to maintain professional licensure.
  • Advise on over-the-counter medications and health supplements.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Support pharmacy outreach programs to improve community health.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy is preferred
