Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Marine Conservation Specialist to join our team in Haverhill. The ideal candidate will focus on the preservation of marine environments, conducting research and implementing strategies to mitigate human impact on these ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing marine conservation measures.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to enhance marine biodiversity.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans for marine species recovery.
  • Facilitate partnerships with academic institutions for marine-related research.
  • Engage in policy advocacy for sustainable marine practices.
  • Document and share best practices for marine conservation.
  • Foster relationships with community stakeholders for effective engagement.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Marine Environmental Science or similar
  • PhD is an added advantage

  • 3-5 years in marine ecosystem management
