As a Sports Physiologist at Sports Performance Consultancy, you'll be pivotal in improving athlete performance and rehabilitation strategies. You'll work closely with athletes from various disciplines, conducting physiological assessments and developing tailored training programs to enhance their performance and overall well-being.

Job Responsibilities
  • Implement individualised training plans aimed at improving athletic performance.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate physiological development.
  • Advise on nutrition and lifestyle changes to support athlete training.
  • Engage in field testing for performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals on athlete care and rehabilitation.
  • Prepare reports on athlete performance and deliver feedback effectively.
  • Promote a positive and motivating training environment.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physiology, or related field
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • Physiological Assessment Techniques Skilled in conducting various physiological assessments.
  • Training Programme Design Expert in developing effective training programs tailored to athletes' needs.
  • Injury Rehabilitation Experience in designing rehabilitation protocols for injuries.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork Proven ability to work collaboratively with coaches and athletes.
  • Problem-solving Strong analytical skills to resolve athlete performance issues.
  • Certified Physiologist (BASES)
  • Sports Conditioning Certification (NSCA)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with team sports: Understanding the dynamics of training and performance in team-based sports.
  • Knowledge of sports biomechanics: Ability to apply biomechanics principles to improve athletic performance.
