Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders.
• Monitor welding processes to maintain quality and performance.
• Calibrate equipment as required for different projects.
• Document work performed, including any defects and repairs.
• Support the development of welding procedures and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a metal fabrication environment.

Technical Skills

• Welding Automation

Certifications

• Specialist Welding Qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of BS EN ISO 15614: Understanding of industry standards for welding procedures.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean principles to optimise production efficiency.
