Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will focus on automating and optimising our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and delivery. You will collaborate closely with software developers and IT staff to oversee code releases and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Enhance system reliability through best practices in cloud operations.
• Assist development teams in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Create documentation and training materials for DevOps processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define and implement requirements.
• Engage in incident management and service restoration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of DevOps experience

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana): Proven experience with system monitoring and alerting tools.
• Familiarity with scripting languages: Competence in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
