Job Description

Trucksmith is on the lookout for a dedicated Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks related to the assembly, modification, and maintenance of heavy vehicles. The successful candidate will showcase excellent mechanical skills and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Modify and repair heavy equipment according to specifications.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle issues.
  • Provide feedback on production procedures and safety practices.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in best practices.
  • Document reports on machinery condition and service history.
  • Adhere to deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Propagate a team culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Vocational or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., automotive engineering, manufacturing)
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in truck assembly or a related field
