Able Bodied Tankerman (AB Tankerman)

Job Description

We are in search of an Able Bodied Tankerman (AB Tankerman) to oversee the loading and unloading of liquid cargoes between our vessels and terminal facilities. The successful candidate will ensure safety protocols are followed and operations are carried out smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper handling of cargoes in accordance with maritime laws.
• Train and guide junior crew members on operational procedures.
• Perform routine inspections of safety and emergency equipment.
• Coordinate with terminal staff to facilitate smooth cargo transfers.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the Chief Officer immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Additional maritime certifications are preferred

Experience

• Experience in tankerman operations preferred.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Cargo Handling Equipment
• Vessel Safety Procedures

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Vessel Maintenance: Hands-on experience in vessel maintenance and repair is preferred.
