Job Description

We are on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will work with a variety of animals, providing preventive care and medical treatment to ensure their health and well-being. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat various conditions affecting pets.
  • Perform routine surgeries and handle emergency cases.
  • Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgeries.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to pet owners.
  • Foster good relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices.
  • Participate in staff training and mentorship of junior staff.
  • Support clinic administration in promoting services and health education.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications preferred, but not mandatory
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical practice
