Job Description

As an Emergency Department Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical and administrative support to our emergency department team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient triage, performing clinical tasks, and ensuring that the department operates smoothly to deliver outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the triage process and initial patient assessments.
  • Taking and recording vital signs while communicating patient status.
  • Administering prescribed medications and assisting with basic procedures.
  • Organizing and maintaining patient documentation and records.
  • Helping to prepare patients for imaging and lab tests.
  • Transporting patients as needed and assisting with transfers.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Engaging in training and development for staff and volunteers.
  • Assisting with other departmental operations as needed.

Advantageous

  • Additional certification in a related field: Preferable certifications in advanced first aid or trauma care.
