Job Description

We are on the lookout for a driven Civil Engineer to join our expanding team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have experience in infrastructure projects, with a passion for sustainable design and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead civil engineering projects from conception through to completion.
  • Perform technical analysis and modelling of infrastructure systems.
  • Review and approve designs and calculations performed by junior engineers.
  • Facilitate communication amongst project stakeholders.
  • Create detailed project schedules and track progress.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure project success.
  • Advise on environmental impacts and sustainable practices.
  • Research innovative materials and construction methods.
  • Assist in health and safety assessments on project sites.
  • Deliver presentations to clients regarding project updates.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Membership in a relevant professional body is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years working on large infrastructure projects

  • NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
