Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualising and designing innovative buildings and structures, from preliminary sketches to detailed drawings. You will collaborate with engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure that the final outcomes meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Utilise advanced design tools and technologies to enhance project delivery.
• Develop project timelines and manage resources effectively to adhere to deadlines.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance architectural knowledge and skills.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Assist in mentoring junior architects and interns within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Sustainable Architecture is preferable

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in architectural design and project management

Technical Skills

• Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Sustainable Design Practices

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• BREEAM Assessor
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with parametric design tools: Familiarity with tools that assist in generating complex architectural forms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous designs: A collection of past work demonstrating design skills and creativity.
