Job Description

The Financial Services Agent will be responsible for providing tailored financial advice and recommendations to clients. The role includes assisting with investment decisions, recommending financial products and services, and managing client portfolios, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored financial advice based on client needs
  • Assist clients in making informed investment choices
  • Monitor client portfolio performance and conduct regular reviews
  • Build and sustain trusted client relationships
  • Keep abreast of market changes and financial legislation
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Provide clear and detailed financial reports to clients
  • Work collaboratively within a team to meet targets
  • Participate actively in training and development programmes

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent certification
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services, particularly in a client-facing role
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office
  • Financial Planning Software (e.g. XPLAN)
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills
Certifications
  • Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
