Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team in Manchester. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans, focusing on recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patients' conditions and progress towards recovery.
• Engage in therapeutic relationships with patients to promote trust.
• Facilitate workshops and therapeutic groups.
• Support patients in crisis situations and escalate as necessary.
• Collaborate with external agencies for community support.
• Actively participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
• Mental Health Nursing qualification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health nursing

Advantageous

• Experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Proficiency in providing CBT as part of treatment plans.
