Mental Health Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our compassionate team at Healthcare Providers Ltd. in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in a friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any significant changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about mental health issues.
• Engage in therapeutic relationships with patients to promote recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of services.
• Assist in the training of new staff and students.
• Promote a positive and safe environment for patients.
• Act as an advocate for patients' rights and preferences.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or mental health-related field
• Psychiatric nursing certification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of mental health nursing experience preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Mental Health Legislation: Knowledge of UK mental health laws and guidelines.
