Join our London-based dental practice as a Grinding, Lapping, Polishing, and Buffing Machine Tool Operator. You'll play a vital role in assisting dentists by preparing treatment materials and maintaining equipment for optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for grinding and polishing dental materials.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure efficient performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new staff on equipment use.
• Perform quality checks on completed work.
• Provide feedback on machinery operation for maintenance.
• Document all equipment malfunctions for records.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of dental assistant training program

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience as a dental assistant or related position.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in using dental rotary instruments
• Familiarity with dental materials and equipment

Soft Skills

• Excellent manual dexterity
• Strong attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with intraoral scanners: Familiarity with digital dental imaging technologies.
• Background in dental lab work: Previous experience in a dental laboratory setting.
