Seeking a knowledgeable Gauge and Weigh Machine Adjuster to enhance our team. This role entails the operation, upkeep, and calibration of gauge and weigh machines, ensuring the accuracy of measurements. The ideal candidate will contribute to quality assurance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the calibration and adjustments of gauge and weigh machines.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure measurements are precise.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures for machine operation.
• Conduct training sessions for new operators on proper machine usage.
• Record production data and machine performance metrics for analysis.
• Actively participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Identify areas for process optimisation to enhance productivity.
• Provide feedback to the production manager regarding operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in manufacturing or engineering preferred

Experience

• 3-7 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using gauge and weigh machine software
• Basic computer skills

Languages
