Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to bolster our growing team in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of network architecture, security protocols, and hands-on experience with various networking technologies. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular testing and analysis of network performance.
  • Respond to escalated network issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement network security measures and updates.
  • Collaborate with vendors for procurement and support.
  • Analyze network traffic and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with disaster recovery procedures and network backups.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications are a plus

  • 3+ years working in a networking role
