Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our passionate team in Newcastle. You will provide exceptional medical care to a variety of animals, ensuring their health and well-being through diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care. Responsibilities

  • Assess animal health and provide appropriate care.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results.
  • Manage and lead staff in clinic procedures and protocols.
  • Guide pet owners on nutrition and wellness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate on larger animal welfare projects.
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide on-call support.
  • Engage in continuing education for skill enhancement.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff.
  • Contribute to the clinic’s strategic development.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Veterinary Medicine are preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical practice
