Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Rough Rounder to join our team. You will be responsible for operating machinery to shape and rough-round various metal components. Ideally, you should have experience in operating heavy machinery and possess technical expertise in metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machine settings, including speed and feed, to ensure precise operations.
• Inspect and measure workpieces using precision instruments to verify quality.
• Collaborate with other production staff to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.
• Identify and troubleshoot any equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Train new team members on machinery operation and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• No specific qualifications required, but relevant certifications in machine operation are advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating heavy machinery in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
