Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Hoist and Winch Operators to join our team in Manchester. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating hoists and winches to safely transfer materials within our warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor hoists and winches for effective material handling.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure safe operations.
• Inspect and maintain lifting equipment to meet safety standards.
• Keep detailed records of all movements and equipment status.
• Implement improvements in operational processes as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or equipment handling

Technical Skills

• Advanced Hoisting Techniques

Certifications

• Valid Forklift Operator Certification
• Health and Safety Training Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
