Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Wrecker Driver to handle the towing and recovery of vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring that every job is conducted safely and efficiently, providing excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the wrecker truck and report any issues.
• Work with a team to ensure timely recovery and towing of vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding vehicle recovery.
• Use GPS systems for efficient route planning to towing sites.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in the cab of the wrecker truck.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in vehicle recovery or a similar field.

Certifications

• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Valid UK driving license (Category C+E preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional certifications in vehicle recovery or towing techniques.: Further qualifications will enhance your expertise and efficiency in the role.
• Experience operating specialized recovery equipment.: Experience with equipment such as winches and wheel-lift systems is highly advantageous.
