Job Description

We seek a dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team in Wrexham. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports rehabilitation, providing comprehensive training programs while ensuring athlete safety and performance. You'll work closely with athletes to develop individualized training and rehabilitation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat athletic injuries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Implement rehabilitation programmes for injured athletes to ensure safe return to sport.
  • Work with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to athlete care.
  • Organise and conduct fitness testing for athletes to establish baseline performance.
  • Prepare and maintain training space, ensuring equipment is safe and functional.
  • Provide educational workshops for athletes regarding injury prevention and recovery.
  • Develop strong relationships with athletes to instill confidence in their training processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Science or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in athletic training or related roles
