Job Description

We are seeking a committed Poultry Husbandry Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care and management of our poultry, ensuring their health and welfare from chick to adulthood. You will work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact our production quality.

Responsibilities

  • Feed and care for both laying hens and broilers throughout their life cycle.
  • Observe and monitor bird behaviour and health, reporting any concerns.
  • Clean and disinfect living areas and equipment used in poultry care.
  • Assist in egg collection and ensure adherence to quality checks.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of flock performance.
  • Support the farm manager in health and safety compliance efforts.
  • Engage in team-based farming initiatives to boost productivity.

Requirements

Education
  • Experience in animal husbandry is highly preferred.
Experience
  • Prior experience with poultry or livestock is advantageous.

  • Experience in environmental controls: Knowledge of ventilation systems and environmental management in poultry houses.
