Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Broadcast Engineer to join our vibrant Rotherham team. This role involves designing and maintaining broadcast systems, ensuring smooth operations for live and recorded shows. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of broadcasting technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and maintenance of broadcasting hardware.
• Test and validate all broadcast systems prior to live events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during broadcasts.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
• Ensure backup systems are in place for critical broadcast operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge of industry trends.
• Assist in the planning and execution of major broadcast events.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Engineering or Media Technology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in broadcast systems management

• Audio/Video Production
• Technical Troubleshooting

Certifications

• HD & 4K Video Production Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
