Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Nut Sheller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing various types of nuts, ensuring high-quality standards and maintaining a safe working environment. This role will involve handling and operating nut shelling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper operation of nut processing machinery and adhere to safety protocols.
• Sort and package nuts while ensuring they meet quality expectations.
• Maintain accurate production logs and report on quality metrics.
• Assist in training new staff on machinery operation and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to maintain optimal functionality.
• Work in tandem with the quality control team to uphold product standards.
• Participate in team meetings to strategise and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in inventory management and requisition of supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
