Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our dynamic team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical documentation and be able to transform complex information into clear, user-friendly content. Your role will focus on creating user manuals, online help systems, and product specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and publish technical documents, including specifications and design documents.
  • Create FAQs and troubleshooting articles for users.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers for illustrative content in documentation.
  • Ensure timely updates to documentation as software changes occur.
  • Utilise feedback from customer support teams to improve documentation quality.
  • Participate in project meetings to stay updated on product changes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or equivalent experience
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical writing role
