Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for various projects. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical layouts in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project specifications and ensure designs meet client needs.
• Utilise CAD software for electrical design and modelling.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers for electrical components.
• Review and approve project documentation and design changes.
• Coordinate with contractors during installation phases.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical support.
• Perform risk assessments of electrical systems and recommend safety measures.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and technical issues.
• Document and report on project status, milestones, and outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering.
