Media Production Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Media Production Assistant to join our talented team in Ayr. The ideal candidate will have a passion for media production and a keen eye for detail, assisting with various stages of content creation from pre-production to post-production.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the technical setup and operation of filming equipment.
• Organise and track all media assets throughout the production lifecycle.
• Support the production manager in daily operations and project oversight.
• Help develop and maintain a production schedule to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in the quality control of media content to uphold standards.
• Contribute to the creative direction by suggesting innovative techniques.
• Facilitate communication between departments to streamline processes.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs including English and Maths
• Relevant experience in media production is highly desirable

Experience

• Experience with content creation or media production is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in live event production: Knowledge of how to assist with the operations of live media events.
• Familiarity with lighting equipment: Basic knowledge of lighting setups and their applications in production.
