Job Description
An Auto Dismantler is responsible for efficiently disassembling and salvaging parts from end-of-life vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle components and the ability to dismantle vehicles in a safe and organized manner.
Responsibilities
Efficiently disassemble vehicles while following safety protocols.
Conduct quality checks on salvaged parts to ensure usability.
Organize and manage the inventory of salvaged components.
Work with the operations team to streamline dismantling processes.
Maintain proper documentation for parts salvaged and used.
Train new hires in dismantling techniques and safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are safe to use.
Assist with logistical tasks related to transporting salvaged parts.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in auto dismantling or a related field.
