Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Wind Tunnel Mechanic where you'll maintain wind tunnel systems and perform critical testing. Ideal candidates will have experience in mechanical systems and an understanding of aerodynamics.
Responsibilities
Oversee the operation of the wind tunnel and ensure operational readiness.
Assist in the calibration of testing equipment for accurate measurements.
Work with the team to develop testing methodologies that meet project requirements.
Document all maintenance activities and ensure records are up to date.
Support the engineering team in developing new testing protocols.
Resolve any mechanical failures swiftly to minimise downtime.
Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and improvements.
Requirements
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is advantageous
Experience
3+ years of experience in a mechanical or technical role.
