Extrusion Machine Operator

Job Description

As an Extrusion Machine Operator, you will be at the forefront of our production process. You will operate and maintain extrusion machinery, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of plastic products. This role requires hands-on technical skills and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust machine settings as necessary to achieve optimal product quality.
• Train new team members on machine operations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with quality control personnel to implement improvements.
• Document equipment performance and report on any inconsistencies.
• Assure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in all operations.
• Assist in the development of operational procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Respond quickly to machine breakdowns and implement repairs to minimise downtime.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical training or certification is preferred.

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Experience with Quality Control Processes
• Ability to Operate Other Production Machinery

Advantageous
