Electrical Maintenance Man

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Man to ensure the maintenance and safety of electrical systems within various sites. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on existing electrical systems.
• Identify problematic areas and execute necessary repairs.
• Assist in the installation of new systems and upgrade existing installations.
• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical standards.
• Manage and maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Deliver clear communication of project statuses to management and teams.
• Document all assessments and repairs conducted.
• Participate in training sessions to stay current with technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Recognised apprenticeship in electrical maintenance preferred
• Additional relevant qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role is a must.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of PLC programming
• Familiarity with building management systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with security systems: Knowledge in installation and maintenance of security systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment: Previous work experience in an industrial setting is advantageous.
