Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in London. In this pivotal role, you will assess and treat individuals experiencing various speech, language, and communication disorders.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' speech and language abilities to identify disorders or delays.
Design and execute individualized therapy plans tailored to patient needs.
Facilitate therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, fluency, and language skills.
Assist patients in enhancing swallowing and oral motor skills.
Educate patients and families on therapy exercises for home practice.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Engage in continuous professional development and training.
Participate in team discussions to promote coordinated care.
Contribute to research initiatives in the field of speech therapy.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Therapy
Further certifications in specialised areas of speech therapy are advantageous.
Experience
3 years of experience in speech therapy, with a focus on paediatric care preferred.
