Job Description

We are seeking a talented Art Director to lead our creative projects in Motherwell. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic vision, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing design teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the visual direction of projects, ensuring that they align with our clients' goals while infusing them with innovative creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate and define project briefs while considering client requirements.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across all visual outputs.
  • Advise clients on artistic direction and positioning.
  • Encourage continuous improvement within the creative team.
  • Oversee the integration of digital media into traditional design.
  • Develop and implement training programs for junior designers.
  • Engage in networking and outreach to promote agency creative services.
  • Prepare reports on project progress and team performance.
  • Adapt and respond to evolving design trends and technologies.
  • Create mood boards and prototypes to visualize the direction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Graphic Design or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification preferred
Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in a creative leadership role
