Job Description

We are searching for a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our Cloud Computing infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and automating processes. This role requires a strong background in both software development and systems administration, with a keen interest in cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Ensure disaster recovery strategies are in place and tested.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project deployment.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for cloud resource utilisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging technologies in the DevOps field.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a similar field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering
