Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our oncology unit, you will be responsible for delivering accurate radiation therapy treatments and ensuring patient comfort throughout their care journey.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments following prescribed protocols.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions.
• Educate patients on treatment processes and prepare them for sessions.
• Document patient care, treatment plans, and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment plans.
• Attend relevant training and workshops for skill enhancement.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Postgraduate qualification in Radiation Therapy preferred

Experience

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary oncology team is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Radiation Techniques

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Membership in the Society of Radiographers (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with multidisciplinary teams: Experience working with a variety of healthcare professionals in an oncology setting.
• Membership in professional bodies: Such as the Society of Radiographers or equivalent.
