Job Description

As a Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sawing machines. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of wood products, and you will play a key part in adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate the sawing machine effectively and efficiently based on work orders.
• Conduct regular checks on machinery to prevent downtime.
• Ensure that all finished products meet our quality standards.
• Communicate with team members to ensure seamless workflow.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.
• Record production data for analysis and reporting.
• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Report any hazards or safety incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational qualification is a plus

Experience

• Experience with different wood types and sawing techniques is advantageous.

Advantageous
