Job Description

As a Timber Bucker, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing timber logs for transportation and processing. This physically demanding role requires strong stamina and the ability to thrive in outdoor settings, often in challenging weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize industry-standard machinery to fell and manage timber effectively.
• Participate in regular safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
• Work closely with site managers to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on productivity and quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications in forest management or ecology are a plus.

Experience

• Experience operating heavy machinery used in the forestry industry is an asset.
