Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Electronics Repairer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting skills to ensure the efficient operation of commercial and industrial electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical systems to avoid unexpected failures.
  • Assist with the installation of new electrical systems and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Utilize relevant software for diagnostics and record-keeping.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding project updates.
  • Monitor inventory of electrical supplies and report any needs.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance procedures authentically.
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and management.

Requirements

Education
  • BTEC National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Relevant technical certifications are advantageous
Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on industrial equipment
